How to Play Survive.io: Construct, Safeguard, and Endure


Survive.io is a defense-oriented game of survival where you erect a base, gather resources, and protect against endless waves of zombies. Can you establish a stronghold sturdy enough to withstand the darkness?


Game Synopsis


Create and Enhance Your Fortress


  • Establish a fortress by placing a Treasure Vault (Hotkey 8).
  • Accumulate resources like timber and rock to erect defenses.
  • Upgrade your fortress to improve its resilience against zombie assaults.


Defend Against Zombie Onslaughts


  • Zombies emerge at night and grow in power with each wave.
  • Position turrets and defensive barricades to safeguard your Treasure Vault.
  • Fortify your defenses by upgrading barricades and turrets using treasure.


Acquire Treasure and Purchase Items


  • Construct Treasure Mines to generate income for upgrades.
  • Procure weapons and equipment from the store (Press B).
  • Team up with comrades to construct a colossal, fortified fortress.

  • Move: WASD
  • Collect Resources: Left Click

  • Open Store: B
